Here’s what to expect, step by step. Our process is straightforward, prayerful, and supportive from application to your first class.
1) Choose Your Learning Path
Select the pathway that best fits your current season. Full-Time Student; Student Auditor; Continuing Education.
2) Submit Your Application
Complete the online admissions application. Estimated time: 10–15 minutes.
3) Admissions Review
Our Admissions Team carefully reviews each application and prayerfully considers every applicant.
4) Background Screening
If applicable, complete the required background screening through our trusted partner, Checkr.
5) Admissions Decision
Applicants will receive an email with their admissions decision and next steps.
6) Begin Your Journey
Complete orientation, receive access to student resources, and prepare for your first class. Typical response times: you’ll usually hear from us within 3–5 business days after submitting your application (and within 1–3 business days after any screening is complete). Need help at any step? Every calling is unique, and we encourage you to prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit's guidance as you choose the pathway that best aligns with God's purpose for your life. While Legacy School of Ministry offers multiple pathways to support individuals in different seasons, we encourage those who sense God calling them into ministry to consider the Full-Time Student pathway. It provides the most comprehensive Legacy experience, preparing students for graduation, ministry licensing, and a lifetime of faithful Kingdom service.
Full-Time Student
Answer God's call through the complete Legacy School of Ministry experience. Full-Time Students receive comprehensive biblical instruction, spiritual formation, leadership development, practical ministry training, and faculty mentorship while progressing toward graduation and eligibility for ministry licensing. This pathway is designed for those who are ready to be fully equipped for a lifetime of faithful Kingdom service.

Student Auditor
Experience Legacy School of Ministry by attending classes alongside Full-Time Students in a flexible, non-graduate pathway. Student Auditors receive the same Christ-centered teaching and practical ministry insights while exploring their calling, strengthening their biblical foundation, or preparing for future enrollment as a Full-Time Student.

Continuing Education
Learning doesn't end at graduation. Designed exclusively for Legacy School of Ministry alumni, Continuing Education provides the opportunity to enroll in individual courses that deepen biblical understanding, strengthen leadership, and support continued spiritual growth for every season of ministry.

Who should apply?
Apply if you want structured training in ministry, theology, and spiritual formation, and you are ready to learn and grow in community. If you are unsure which path fits your schedule or goals, contact Admissions for help.
Can I attend online?
Yes. You can complete your coursework online and stay connected through the tools we use for classes and communication.
What is a Student Auditor?
A Student Auditor participates in classes for learning and personal growth without working toward credit or a credential. Contact Admissions to confirm what access and requirements apply for your situation.
How long is the program?
Two years of comprehensive ministry preparation, culminating in a supervised internship that provides hands-on ministry experience and practical application.
Do I have to attend Faith Family Church?
No. You do not have to attend Faith Family Church to apply or to participate in the program.
What happens after graduation?
You leave with clearer direction, practical ministry tools, and support for next steps in serving your church or community. If you want help thinking through placement, further study, or ministry goals, contact Admissions.
How much is tuition?
Tuition varies by program path and any auditing options. Contact Admissions for current tuition and fees, and refer to the full catalog for detailed academic and policy questions.
When do classes begin?
Student Orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with classes beginning on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Classes meet weekly on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM and Thursdays at 6:30 PM. Legacy School of Ministry follows an academic term schedule, with new cohorts beginning throughout the year.
